UBC's meeting and conference facilities include over 200 classrooms ranging from small seminar rooms to large lecture theatres that can accommodate up to 500 attendees. UBC classrooms have been designed for various learning environments from traditional lecture theatres to computer labs to flexible rooms for interactive group discussions and breakout sessions. Extensive instructional support services, including audio visual, webcasting and video conferencing are available. Our convenient and comfortable in-house meeting venues offer flexible room setups for plenary or breakout sessions. Many rooms have adjoining patios or lobbies, ideal for refreshment breaks. The Gage Towers features over 10,000 square feet of multi-purpose
meeting space. The Totem Residence Ballroom provides seating for up to 800 theatre style, with a large patio area leading to the surrounding lawns.
